GENDER: Men / In 2006, Jean-Claude Ellena created Terre d'Hermès, a perfume that connects men to their origins and the source of their creativity. Terre d'Hermès describes the relationship between man and the earth. His dialogue with nature and the elements is characterized by humility and harmony. Since 2016, Christine Nagel, perfumer at Hermès, has been exploring the Terre fragrance line to explore new possibilities for interpretation. THE FRAGRANCE NOTES The Terre d'Hermès perfume, with mineral and woody accents, combines the power of cedar and the effervescence of grapefruit with the vibrant aroma of flint. THE OBJECT An orange H symbolizes the base of the bottle, symbolizing its roots in the earth. At the top, the light reflects off the metal on the bottle's shoulders. And in between, between heaven and earth, lies perfectly clear water. THE HERMÈS DETAIL A closer look at the Terre d'Hermès bottle reveals numerous details, such as the iconic saddler's nail and the sliding cap that releases the spray button. It was created by designer Philippe Mouquet and is modeled after the bottle of a travel toiletry bag housed in the Émile Hermès Museum. Scent: Spicy and dry. Main ingredients: Grapefruit, cedarwood, flint.
