The brand Toms was founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie. On a journey across Argentina, Blake was confronted with poverty. Driven by a charitable purpose, he came up with the idea of giving a free pair of shoes to a deserving child for every pair of Toms sold. The donated shoes are brand new and available in four different models. Hence, they are ideal for children and teenagers to be worn for everyday school life. Thanks to its clients, Toms has already been able to donate over 45 millions of pairs of shoes to children in need. Its popular loafer became an immediate success, also because it’s light and breathable. The unique design of the Toms shoes allow them to be combined with various clothes.
